Cacti starting to flower

The first flower of the year, always brightens up the garden.


With the help of some people over on the BCSS forum, this cacti has now been identified as Stenocactus lau 1377

  2. I'm not sure, it came un-named, once I have found an ID I'll post t here. If anyone knows please let me know.

      the shape is somewhat similar- it definitely has spikes like yours...

    1. I like them as well. The flowers have been long lasting as well, almost a week now, which by cactus standards is good.
